First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study tested whether showing people with overweight or obesity a 4D virtual reality model of their body changes could help them stay motivated on a Mediterranean diet. 133 adults followed a 6-month diet program; one group also saw their body's predicted changes in VR. The goal was to improve diet adherence, body image, and health measures like weight and blood pressure.
