First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looks at how often speech and swallowing problems occur after a specific jaw surgery (maxillomandibular advancement) for obstructive sleep apnea. Researchers will measure nasal speech, swallowing ability, and voice changes in 28 adults before and after surgery. The goal is to better understand these side effects, not to test a new treatment.
