Mind games: can thinking about moves make you jump higher?
NCT ID NCT07270224
Summary
This study looked at whether female volleyball players are better at mentally practicing movements compared to non-athletes. Researchers tested 52 women to see if stronger mental imagery skills were linked to faster reaction times and higher vertical jumps in the players. The goal was to understand how the brain contributes to athletic performance, which could help design better training methods.
