Gentle touch therapies tested to help struggling preemies breathe easier
NCT ID NCT06992492
Summary
This study compared two gentle physical therapy techniques to help premature babies with severe breathing difficulties. Researchers tested whether adding Vojta reflex therapy or a lung squeezing technique to standard care improved oxygen levels and breathing rates more effectively. The goal was to find which method best eases respiratory distress and might help babies leave the hospital sooner.
