First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests a therapy called VOJTA in 40 children aged 2-6 with ataxic cerebral palsy, a condition that causes shaky movements and poor balance. The therapy uses gentle pressure on specific body spots to activate natural movement patterns. Researchers will compare VOJTA to standard physical therapy over 8 weeks to see if it improves muscle tone, motor skills, and balance.
