Which cancer treatment saves your voice? new trial aims to find out
NCT ID NCT04057209
Summary
This study compares two standard treatments for very early-stage vocal cord cancer: laser surgery and a newer, more targeted form of radiation. The main goal is to see which treatment leads to better long-term voice quality for patients. Researchers will randomly assign participants to one of the two treatments and then carefully measure their voice function and cancer control over several years.
