New drug aims to stop bleeding in emergency surgeries for blood thinner users

Summary
This phase 3 trial tests if a single dose of VMX-C001 can safely control bleeding during urgent, high-risk surgery in 800 adults taking blood thinners (FXa DOACs). Participants receive either VMX-C001 or standard care before their procedure. The main goal is to see if bleeding control is rated good or excellent by experts who don't know which treatment was given.
