Needles vs cream: new approach tested for skin pigment loss
NCT ID NCT07398807
Summary
This study aims to see if a combination treatment using tiny needles (microneedling) and a cream called 5FU works better than a strong steroid cream for repigmenting small patches of vitiligo. It will involve 40 people with stable vitiligo covering less than 10% of their body. Researchers will compare how much pigment returns and how satisfied patients are with each treatment over 12 weeks.
