Ultrasound may boost skin treatment for vitiligo

NCT ID NCT07267273

Summary

This study is testing whether using ultrasound waves can help a steroid cream work better for treating vitiligo, a condition that causes white patches on the skin. Researchers will enroll 60 people with vitiligo to see if this combined approach improves skin repigmentation. The goal is to see if the ultrasound helps the medication penetrate deeper into the skin to potentially restore color more effectively.
