Vitamin shield for ozempic users: study tests protection against hidden deficiencies
NCT ID NCT06981936
Summary
This study is testing whether a daily multivitamin tablet can prevent vitamin and mineral deficiencies in people using popular weight-loss medications like Ozempic and Saxenda. Researchers will compare the multivitamin against a placebo in 150 adults using these medications for a full year. The goal is to see if proactive supplementation can protect against nutrient shortfalls that might occur due to reduced appetite and food intake.
