Can a simple vitamin shield Kids' bones from steroid damage?
NCT ID NCT07206537
Summary
This study is testing whether giving vitamin K2 as a daily supplement can help protect bone strength in children with a kidney condition called nephrotic syndrome. These children need long-term steroid treatment, which can weaken their bones. Researchers will measure bone health markers in 60 children to see if vitamin K2 helps prevent this bone loss.
