First seen Jun 24, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested a face-and-neck cream containing Vitamin K2 to see if it improves skin hydration, elasticity, and wrinkles. Thirty-six women aged 35 to 60 applied the cream to one side of their face and a placebo to the other side twice daily for 8 weeks. Researchers measured skin changes using special devices and imaging to compare the two sides.

Vitamin K2 (BioYoung™ MK-7) in a topical cream

What this could lead to

If it works, this could point toward a simple cosmetic cream that improves skin firmness and reduces wrinkles without invasive procedures.
