Summary
This small pilot study aims to see if taking a daily Vitamin D supplement for three weeks changes testosterone levels in young, healthy women. Researchers will compare 20 participants, some taking Vitamin D and some taking a placebo pill, by measuring hormone levels in their blood before and after the three weeks. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about how Vitamin D might affect hormones in women, as most prior research has focused on men.
