Do prisoners need vitamin d checks?
NCT ID NCT02044133
Summary
This study looked at whether testing vitamin D levels when men first enter prison is useful for their health. Researchers compared two groups: one got tested at entry and again six months later, while the other only got tested at six months. The goal was to see if early testing helps track changes in vitamin D during incarceration.
