Doctors-in-Training show widespread vitamin d shortage
NCT ID NCT07479303
Summary
This study looked back at the health records of 30 new medical residents in Spain to check their vitamin D levels. Many young doctors were found to have low vitamin D, likely due to long study hours indoors and limited sun exposure. Those with a deficiency were given a vitamin D treatment (calcifediol) and their levels were checked again to see if they improved.
