First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at three different ways to take vitamin D to see which one raises blood levels the most and how it affects bone density. About 90 adults with low vitamin D will take either a monthly pill, a twice-monthly pill, or daily drops. After one month, researchers will measure vitamin D in the blood and check bone density with a special X-ray.
