Summary
This study looks at whether taking vitamin D supplements can reduce pain, speed tooth movement, and improve bone health in people getting braces. About 48 adults aged 18-35 with crooked teeth will take either vitamin D or a placebo daily for 4 months. Researchers will measure pain levels, tooth movement, and saliva changes to see if vitamin D helps during orthodontic treatment.
