First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 42 times

Summary

This study involved 54 men entering a prison in France. Half had their vitamin D levels tested right away and again after 6 months; the other half only had a test at 6 months. The goal was to see if routine vitamin D testing at prison entry is worthwhile. The study did not provide treatment, only measured levels.
