Vitamin d shot could speed up your braces

NCT ID NCT07479290

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting a form of Vitamin D into the gums can make teeth move faster during orthodontic treatment with braces. In 30 adult patients, one side of the mouth will get the Vitamin D injection while the other gets a placebo, to compare the speed of tooth movement. The goal is to see if this method can safely reduce the overall time a person needs to wear braces.
