Summary
This study looked at whether giving vitamin D to children with rotavirus infection can make their diarrhea and vomiting less severe and end sooner. Sixty children with low vitamin D levels and confirmed rotavirus took part. Researchers measured symptoms and inflammation markers to see if vitamin D helped.
