Can a basket of groceries fix teen vitamin d woes?
NCT ID NCT07349290
Summary
This study is testing if providing families with a basket of vitamin D-rich and fortified foods during the winter months can improve vitamin D levels in teenagers. Researchers will work with 160 households, each with at least one teenager, to see if this household diet approach works better than usual eating habits. They will measure vitamin D levels in the blood before and after the food program to check for improvement.
