Vitamin D's secret power against colon cancer revealed?
NCT ID NCT02172651
First seen May 20, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026
Summary
This study looks at how vitamin D interacts with colon cancer cells. Researchers want to see if high doses of vitamin D can change how cancer cells grow. About 80 people with stage I-III colon cancer or cancer that has spread to the liver will take either high or standard vitamin D before their surgery. The goal is to learn more, not to treat the cancer directly.
