Could a simple vitamin test predict dangerous blood pressure drops in moms?
NCT ID NCT07057362
Summary
This study aims to understand if low vitamin D levels make pregnant women more likely to experience a dangerous drop in blood pressure during spinal anesthesia for a planned C-section. Researchers will measure vitamin D levels before surgery and closely monitor blood pressure during the procedure in 140 women. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors better predict and manage this common risk.
