First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at how vitamin C supplements change the bacteria living in your gut. Healthy adults will take a low dose (200 mg) and then a high dose (1000 mg) of vitamin C each day for two weeks. Researchers will test stool, blood, and urine samples to see how the gut bacteria respond and if inflammation changes.
