Can common supplements shield cancer Patients' kidneys from chemo damage?

Summary
This study aims to see if taking the antioxidants Vitamin C and Coenzyme Q10 can protect the kidneys of cancer patients receiving cisplatin chemotherapy. Cisplatin is very effective but can cause serious kidney damage in about 30% of patients. Researchers will give these supplements to some patients alongside their standard chemo to see if it reduces kidney injury and improves their quality of life.
