Summary
This study tested whether vitamin B12 works as well as a standard steroid gel (Kenalog in Orabase) for treating painful mouth ulcers caused by braces. 82 adults with traumatic ulcers were split into two groups and treated for 8 days. The main goal was to see how much pain and ulcer size reduced over time.
