First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at whether taking daily vitamin B complex can reduce nerve damage (tingling, numbness, pain) caused by the chemotherapy drug paclitaxel in women with ovarian cancer. 146 adult patients took vitamin B pills every day for 6 months while receiving weekly chemo. Researchers compared their nerve symptoms to those who did not take vitamin B. The goal was to see if vitamin B could ease this common and painful side effect.
