Could a simple vitamin test predict a Preemie's health risks?

NCT ID NCT07296393

Summary

This study aims to understand if low vitamin A levels measured in a baby's umbilical cord blood at birth are linked to a higher chance of serious health problems in extremely premature infants. Researchers will observe about 155 babies born before 32 weeks of pregnancy. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help identify at-risk babies in the future, but this study itself does not provide treatment.
