New drug trial aims to reverse devastating cancer weight loss
NCT ID NCT07112196
Summary
This study is testing a new drug called visugromab to see if it can help people with advanced cancer who are losing weight and appetite, a condition called cachexia. Researchers want to know if the drug helps patients gain weight, feel hungrier, and be more active compared to a placebo. About 518 participants will receive the drug or a placebo through an IV drip at a clinic every four weeks.
