First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study looks at whether showing patients animated, easy-to-understand videos before a colonoscopy helps them follow preparation instructions better than standard written or verbal explanations. About 120 adults scheduled for a routine colonoscopy will take part. The goal is to see if better understanding leads to cleaner bowels, which makes the procedure more effective.
