New therapy targets brain to fix stubborn lazy eye
NCT ID NCT07437807
Summary
This study tested a personalized vision therapy program for children and teens with amblyopia (lazy eye) who did not improve with standard treatments. Researchers wanted to see if exercises targeting specific visual thinking skills could improve how the brain processes sight. They measured whether this tailored approach could improve depth perception and overall visual performance.
