First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a new catheter that uses real-time MRI guidance to treat ventricular tachycardia, a fast and dangerous heart rhythm, in people with ischemic heart disease. About 64 participants will receive a targeted ablation (burning) of the heart tissue causing the problem. The goal is to see if the procedure is safe and stops the abnormal rhythm without needing long-term medication.
