NCT ID NCT05543798

First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study tests a new catheter that uses real-time MRI guidance to treat ventricular tachycardia, a dangerous fast heart rhythm, in people with prior heart attacks. About 64 participants will undergo a procedure to burn small areas of heart tissue causing the rhythm problem. The goal is to stop the abnormal rhythm during the procedure and prevent it from coming back for at least 6 months, reducing the need for strong heart medications.
