First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study looked at how well a special lens implant (Visian Toric ICL) works over two years for people with nearsightedness and astigmatism. A total of 125 participants received the implant during surgery. The main finding was that the lens stayed in the correct position (rotated less than 5 degrees) in 90% of eyes between 18 and 24 months after surgery, showing good long-term stability.
