Virus spray vs chemo spray: new battle for stomach cancer
NCT ID NCT07486310
Summary
This study is testing whether a new virus-based aerosol treatment (VRT106) works better than standard chemotherapy aerosol for advanced stomach cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining. Thirty patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the virus treatment or the chemotherapy treatment, both delivered as a pressurized spray during minimally invasive surgery. The main goals are to see which treatment is safer and more effective at controlling the cancer.
