Cancer-Fighting virus injected directly into tumors in new melanoma trial

NCT ID NCT07086105

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a modified virus called Adze1.C that's designed to infect and destroy cancer cells while potentially boosting the immune system. The virus is injected directly into tumors of adults with advanced melanoma that hasn't responded to standard treatments. Researchers will test three different dose levels to find the highest safe amount and monitor patients closely for side effects.
