Scientists test 'Trojan Horse' virus to attack deadly recurrent brain cancer

NCT ID NCT06763965

Summary

This early-stage study is testing a new treatment for people with aggressive brain tumors (high-grade glioma) that have come back or gotten worse after standard therapy. Doctors inject a specially engineered virus directly into the brain tumor. The virus is designed to infect and kill cancer cells while also alerting the body's immune system. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if this approach shows early signs of helping patients live longer.
