NCT ID NCT03665675
First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether specially trained white blood cells from a donor can safely fight off cytomegalovirus (CMV) or adenovirus infections in people who have had a stem cell or solid organ transplant. About 20 participants will receive these virus-fighting cells to see if they control the infection without causing serious side effects like graft-versus-host disease. The goal is to offer a new treatment option when standard antiviral drugs fail or cannot be used.
