First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests whether specially trained white blood cells from a donor can safely control or eliminate cytomegalovirus (CMV) or adenovirus infections in people who have had a stem cell or solid organ transplant. About 20 participants will receive these virus-fighting cells and be monitored for side effects and viral response. The goal is to manage the infection without relying solely on antiviral drugs.
