Virus, radiation & drugs team up to fight tough liver tumors

NCT ID NCT07381309

Summary

This study is testing a combination of treatments for colorectal cancer that has spread to the liver and cannot be removed by surgery. The main new part is an injection of a specially engineered virus (H101) around the tumor, which is designed to attack cancer cells. This virus injection is given along with targeted radiation, immunotherapy, chemotherapy, and targeted drugs. The goal is to see if this multi-pronged attack can shrink tumors better than current options for this hard-to-treat cancer.
