Hands-On practice boosts student confidence in managing pregnancy complication
NCT ID NCT06630143
Summary
This study tested two training methods for midwifery students learning to manage severe preeclampsia, a serious pregnancy condition. Thirty-two students were randomly assigned to receive either virtual simulation training alone or a combination of virtual and hands-on practice with a manikin. Researchers measured how well each method improved students' knowledge, clinical judgment skills, confidence, and satisfaction with their training.
