Video games for healing hands?
NCT ID NCT07201740
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a virtual reality game system to standard hand therapy helps people recover better after surgery for a hand tendon injury. It will compare two groups of 66 adults: one gets standard rehab plus 20 minutes of VR games five days a week for a month, while the other gets only standard rehab. Researchers will measure improvements in hand movement, grip strength, pain, and daily function to see if the VR games make a difference.
