First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding virtual reality exercises to standard hand therapy improves recovery after flexor tendon surgery. Sixty-six adults who had hand tendon repair will be split into two groups: one gets usual rehab plus 20 minutes of VR hand games daily for 4 weeks, the other gets usual rehab alone. Researchers will measure hand movement, grip strength, pain, and daily function to see if VR makes a difference.
