Summary
This study tested whether virtual reality (VR) exposure therapy can help reduce speech anxiety in students. Over 1,500 participants from multiple universities took part. Researchers compared how a person's usual positive outlook versus their in-the-moment feelings predicted therapy success. The goal was to improve understanding of what makes exposure therapy work best for public speaking fears.
