First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether wearing virtual reality goggles showing relaxing nature scenes with music could reduce anxiety and improve comfort for 70 men undergoing a prostate biopsy. Researchers measured anxiety, comfort, and any complications within 24 hours after the biopsy.
