Summary
This study tests whether watching virtual reality videos before surgery can lower anxiety in adults. About 270 people waiting for elective surgery will be randomly assigned to watch an educational VR video, a relaxing VR distraction, or receive standard care. Researchers will measure anxiety levels, heart rate, and blood pressure to see if VR helps patients feel calmer.
