NCT ID NCT05592132

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study tests whether using a virtual reality helmet during painful medical procedures (like needle sticks or bone marrow tests) can reduce pain in children with cancer. About 74 children aged 6 to 18 will be split into two groups: one gets standard care plus the VR helmet, the other gets standard care alone. Their pain levels will be compared using a simple 0-to-10 scale.
