First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a virtual reality helmet during painful procedures like needle sticks or bone marrow tests can reduce pain in children with cancer. About 74 kids, ages 6 to 18, will either get the helmet plus standard care or standard care alone. Their pain levels will be compared using a simple 0-to-10 scale.
