First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether immersive virtual reality (VR) can reduce pain, improve balance, and enhance neck awareness in people with cervical radiculopathy—a condition where a pinched nerve in the neck causes pain and numbness down one arm. Forty-two adults aged 35-50 with this condition participated. Researchers measured balance, neck movement accuracy, and disability before and after VR therapy to see if it helps.
