First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether an interactive virtual reality (VR) system could help children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) stick to their physiotherapy exercises at home. Fourteen children aged 5-10 who could walk took part. The study measured how often and how long they used the VR system, and asked families and staff about their experience. It also checked if the VR exercises improved the children's movement and function.
