Summary

This study tested whether wearing virtual reality glasses during wisdom tooth removal can lower anxiety and pain. Fifty adults who were very nervous about dental surgery took part. Some wore VR headsets during the procedure, while others did not. Researchers measured heart rate, blood pressure, and anxiety levels before, during, and after surgery to see if VR made a difference.
